Refund and Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) governs all payments, bookings, and cancellations for services provided by Gaurav Jindal, his employees, contractors, agents, or any person authorized or appointed by him (collectively, “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) through the website VastuKundli located at [https://www.vastukundli.com/] (the “Website”) or otherwise arranged in connection with our services (collectively, the “Services”). By booking or paying for any Services, you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by this Policy.
1. No Refunds
1.1 General Policy
All payments made for Services are strictly non-refundable, including deposits, partial payments, or full payments, regardless of whether the Services are completed, partially delivered, or canceled by the Client. This policy applies to all Services offered by the Company, including but not limited to Vastu consultations, online reports, virtual property evaluations, or any other advisory services.
1.2 Acknowledgment
By making a payment, the Client acknowledges and agrees that all Services are advisory in nature and that any remedies, recommendations, or guidance provided are solely for informational purposes. The Client assumes full responsibility for any action or decision based on the Services.
Example Scenario:
- If a Client pays $300 for an online Vastu consultation but chooses not to attend the scheduled consultation, the payment is non-refundable.
- If a Client receives a written Vastu report but disagrees with the recommendations, the payment remains non-refundable.
2. No Rescheduling
2.1 General Rule
The Company does not provide rescheduling or date changes once a booking is confirmed. All bookings are processed based on availability at the time of confirmation. The Client is responsible for attending the Service at the scheduled date and time.
2.2 Exceptions
Rescheduling may be permitted at the sole discretion of the Company in exceptional circumstances, such as:
- Medical emergencies documented with valid proof
- Death or severe illness of an immediate family member
- Natural disasters, government-mandated restrictions, or other force majeure events
All exception requests must be submitted in writing to the Company at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled Service, where feasible. Approval of exceptions is entirely discretionary and not guaranteed.
Example Scenario:
A Client who experiences a sudden hospitalization may request rescheduling by providing a medical certificate. Approval is at the discretion of the Company and may result in a one-time reschedule to the next available date.
3. No Refunds for Exceptions
3.1 Service Completion
Even in the event of exceptional rescheduling, any payment already made is applied solely to the rescheduled Service and is not eligible for refund.
3.2 Force Majeure
If Services are canceled by the Company due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disaster, internet outage, or public health restrictions), the Company will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the Service. Refunds will not be provided, unless legally required under California law.
4. Client Responsibility
4.1 Acknowledgment of Terms
By booking any Service, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted this Policy in its entirety. The Client agrees that payments are final, and no refunds or rescheduling are guaranteed except under the limited exceptions stated herein.
4.2 Communication
Clients are responsible for ensuring that they receive all communications regarding scheduled Services, including confirmation emails, reminders, and follow-up instructions. Failure to receive or respond to such communications does not entitle the Client to a refund or rescheduling.
5. Governing Law
This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Any disputes arising from this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
